Following news of the threatened closure of rural post offices, in autumn 2006, villagers came out in force to show their support for Oake Post Office many of whom would struggle without this service in their midst.
We are still waiting for a decision.
STOP PRESS!! We are thrilled that Oake was not on the list of threatened closures announced recently!!
