Oake & District Women's Institute meets at Oake Hall every 4th Thursday at 7.30 pm.

Circular walk This walk starts at Hillfarrance Church and covers the whole of Oake Parish

Oake and Bradford Parent and Toddler Group meets regularly from 9.30am to 11.30am at Oake Village Hall every Tuesday. Please contact Fern Dunn on 400423

Pre-school Under 5's

Little Acorns pre school is part of the Foundation Stage Unit and shares resources and activities with the school . All enquiries to the school on 01823 461533.

Oake Tree Short Mat Bowls Club meets on Monday and Thursday evenings in Oake and District Hall - Tony Hull 01823 666522


Computer Courses Twice a month we run a Cyber Cafe at the IT suite in the village hall from 2pm until 4pm. Please drop in if you would like to have some supervised help on the computer or use the excellent facilities which are available for villagers. We can make the room accessible at other times. Please phone Kirsten on 01823 400570 for further information. Dates for the Cyber Cafe are displayed on posters around the village and in News from the Villages.

Badminton - A ladies' badminton group meets on Fridays from 5 pm until 6.30pm. The emphasis is on fun and healthy exercise with some professional coaching to help us along the way.If you would like to join us please phone Penny Williams 01823 462898

Pilates Classes Mondays 17.45 to 18.45 and Thursdays 9.30 to 10.30: if you have done Pilates before and would like to join this class or if you would just like to know more about this unique form of exercise, please call Teresa Hunter 07985 921262. (qualified to teach the Pilates Method in Matwork - Member of the Pilates Foundation UK Limited)

Wilton Bridge Club meets every Wednesday (except the third Wednesday of the month) from 7.00 pm to approx 10.15 pm ; and every Friday from 1.00 pm to approx 4.15 pm . It is not necessary to come with a partner as the organisers will arrange for everyone to play. This is a very friendly club that welcomes players of all ability, particularly those new to Duplicate Bridge .
