MINUTES OF THE   MEETING OF OAKE PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON

TUESDAY 12 TH APRIL   2011 AT OAKE & DISTRICT HALL

PRESENT:   Cllrs. C. Bishop, D. Price, P. Coles, D. Roots, G. Gill, A. Dyke, J. Paul, S.C.Cllr. T. McMahon   the Parish Clerk and 12 members of the public.

PUBLIC QUESTION TIME:   The question of dog fouling was raised and broad band speeds, these items to be placed on next Agenda

DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST:   None

APOLOGIES:   None

MINUTES: The Minutes of the meeting held on the 8 th March were signed as being a correct record.

MATTERS ARISING: .

Elections: There will be no election for the Parish Council as four Councillors are standing down they are Cllrs. Geoff Gill, John Paul, Derek Price and Philip Coles. Four new members will take their place who are Wendy Sargent, Malcolm Marks, Yvonne Yeoell, and Chris Stokes. Likely closure of   The Post Office: Every household in the parish had been sent a questionnaire of these 102 were returned to the Clerk for analysis. Results available on request
Letter re Land at Oake: The Clerk had received a copy of the representation submitted on behalf of Mr. Martin to Taujnton Deane promoting land at Saxon Farm Oake, this will be discussed once the core strategy is available for consultation.  

7.50pm Standing Orders Suspended to allow members of the public to speak

7.56pm Meeting resumed.

ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION:

Audit:  The full audit papers have been received and Philippa Archer has agreed to internally audit the accounts before they are submitted to the Audit Authority.
Rights of Way:
 Document to be circulated
SCC. Do we wish to take on more responsibility? This to go on the next agenda for the new Cllrs. to discuss.

PLANNING:   

27/11/0002 Change of use and conversion of Chapel into dwelling at the Old Chapel, Hillcommon

There were no objections to this application provided the Conservation Officer was happy. .Proposed Cllr. Gill seconded Cllr. Paul all agreed.

27/11/0008T Application to   carry out management works to one oak tree at 39 Saxon Close (included in TD Oake 1 Tree Preservation order)

There were no objections to this application. Proposed Cllr. Gill seconded Cllr. Price.all agreed.
