MATTERS ARISING:

There had been an assult/threats at Oake Manor Golf Club. The theft of a Tree Grabber from Arboricare New Rendy Farm and at Hillcommon a report of a bus driving erratically towards Taunton.
Planning Training: This will take place at Taunton Deane on the 17 th February.
ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION:
Hillfarrance Green: The condition of the Green is causing concern, it was suggested that photographs and measurements and depths of the potholes to taken and forwarded to SCC Tony Mcmahon.
Talking Tomorrow’s Taunton Deane: It was agreed that the site suggested for the Oake development was suitable provided that a footpath could be made to enable people to get into the Saxon Close road and thereby access the shop, school etc.. It was felt that between six and ten of the houses provided should be affordable houses with the majority of these affordable houses being for rent. It was hoped that a contribution would be made by the Developers towards facilities of some kind in Oake.
With regard to the total number of houses required to be built by the Spacial strategy it would require a lot of jobs and infrastructure provided to enable such development to take place.
Taunton Transition Town: There are only resources enough to 8 events to take place and as they require an attendance of between 15-50 people that it would not be suitable to hold an event in Oake but to ask to be notified as to where the nearest event would take place.
Seat for Play Area: The necessary documents have been received by the Chairman and a request for a cheque from SCC Tony Mcmahon to be sent direct to Oake Hall.
Application for Dispensation: This document to be kept with the ‘Minute Book’.
Citizenship awards: Nominations are invited for this award and should be sent to Sharon Grant, They Mayor’s Parlour, Taunton Deane.
