MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF OAKE PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON MONDAY 8TH DECEMBER   2008 AT OAKE & DISTRICT HALL.

PRESENT: Cllrs. C. Bishop,   G. Gill, D. Price, A. Dyke, J. Paul and the Clerk

PUBLIC QUESTION TIME:    None

DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST:   

APOLOGIES:   Cllrs. P. Coles and D. Roots.

MINUTES: The Minutes of the meeting held on the 18 th November were signed as being a correct record.

MATTERS ARISING:

Hillfarrance Green: The clerk reported that certain documents had been found from the Commons Registration Act. 1965 and that these had been forwarded to the Land Registry Office to see if they were sufficient evidence of ownership.

ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION:

Freedom of Information: The model document had been circulated and other items downloaded from the internet pertaining to this had been filled in by the Clerk. It was proposed by Cllr. Price, seconded by Cllr. Gill and all agreed that Oake Parish Council adopt this model. All relevant information for the Council is either on the web site or on hard copy available from the Clerk.

Precept: The Clerk had produced projected figures and expenditure expected till the end of the financial year, after consideration it was proposed by Cllr. Gill and seconded by Cllr. Paul, agreed by all that a precept of £4500. 00 be asked for, this is an increase of £500 on last years figure.

PLANNING:    

Conversion of barns to residential use (one dwelling with annexe) including partial demolition and rebuilding of the south barn at Stoke Red Barn, (formerly Harris Barns) Orchard Lane, Hillcommon (Amended scheme to 27/07/002)
As the amended plans complied with all that the Planning Officer had recommended for the conversion of barns it was proposed by Cllr. Paul, seconded by Cllr. Price that the scheme be supported.
