MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF OAKE PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON TUESDAY 11TH APRIL 2006 AT OAKE & DISTRICT HALL PRESENT: Cllrs. C. Bishop, R. Shaw, P. Coles, P. Aldenhoven, D. Price, PUBLIC QUESTION TIME: None DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST: None APOLOGIES: MINUTES: The Minutes of the meeting held on the 14th March were signed as being a correct record. The Chairman congratulated Mrs. Maunder, the Clerk, who had received a Citizenship Award, he said it was a well deserved award. MATTERS ARISING: Vehicle Speeds: Nothing further to report. Notice Boards: Although the DLO estimate had been accepted the boards have not yet been taken for repair. The Clerk to progress. Parish Expenses: It was proposed that the Clerk be given £10 per month starting 1st April towards the cost of telephone and e-mails. Proposed Mrs. I King, seconded P. Aldenhoven. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION: S.A.L.C Subscription: It was agreed this be paid. Community Council Subscription: It was agreed this be paid. Community Involvement: This document was circulated to all Councillors. Talking Tomorrow: This was circulated, a number of staffed exhibitions will take place throughout April and May, it was decided to attend one of these meetings. Clean Neighbourhoods: New regulations from the 6th April 2006 will allow parish councils to issue fixed penalty notices for littering, graffiti and flyposting offences. Cllr. Mrs. I. King took the Chair for the Planning items. PLANNING APPLICATIONS: Proposed installation of two French doors in east elevation and installation of timber decking and railings to existing flat roof at Heathfield Court.Whilst the Parish Council had no objections to this application it was proposed to leave it to the Listed Building Officer.
